Fitness Approach
I believe in the healing benefits of physical exercise and movement. Fitness and exercise is for everyone--all ages, all body types, and all backgrounds and abilities. This perspective is the foundation for all of the work I do with my clients. We find exercises and movements that work for your body, regardless of injuries or fitness levels. We work together to explore modifications or enhancements in workouts to keep you challenged and feeling successful.
About Me
I have been a certified personal trainer since 2011. When I am not working with clients, I serve as a self defense instructor and Executive Director at Seven Star Women's Kung Fu, a local nonprofit women's martial arts school. I have been training in the martial arts for almost 20 years and hold the rank of 3rd degree black belt in Kajukenbo.
While I've been an athlete for most of my life, it wasn't until I discovered martial arts that I discovered how essential movement and exercise is for my mental health and wellness. The strength, confidence, and life balance I found through martial arts has been transformative. It inspired me to become a personal trainer, so that I could help others celebrate their bodies and find strength, confidence, and joy in movement.
I live in the Seward Park neighborhood of Seattle and enjoy recreating in nature daily.
